yo! well, it's been a slow week so far...been watchin anime, drawing, painting(artwork), and today i started painting my room. things would be going faster but for some reason i am lacking energy and get-up-and-go...i dunno, maybe b/c i haven't been sleeping much lately? mmm..dunno.
anywho, i started watching Naruto and yes, i've fallen hook line and sinker. ish actually a pretty good anime, it has this DBZ quality about it in the way the episodes are structured and presented, but it is 10 times better. the characters are pretty well developed too! ahh ish goodness^__~
oh well...back to painting...

CITY OF LIGHTS...
heya! well, went to new orleans to visit family this weekend. things actually turned out really nice, a friend of mine called while i was there and we ended up going out to White Linen Night downtown. WLN is an art festival that takes place in the warehouse district in downtown new orleans. there was tons of people there, live bands, and tons of art galleries and boutiques showcasing artwork. afterwards we zipped over to the french quater for coffee at cafe du monde. ha, i felt so stupid when we were ordering...i asked for a cappuccino ~__~; the waiter looks at me like i was crazy and my friend is like, he'll take a cafe au lait. duh. it seems as if everyone in the immediate area turned around and looked when i said that..meh...
afterwards we went up to the levee, which is quite amazing at nite and just sat and chatted. picture it..warm summer breeze at 12midnight on the levee and the cathedral illuminated in the background as people walked around on the street below...that my friends was the most relaxing and wonderful time i've had this entire summer. this was a side of new orleans i have never seen. it is definately a beautiful city ^__^~

TRULY OUTRAGEOUS...
yay!!! summer semesters over!! and yes i passed my math class! ^__^ isn't that great! ahh...that rock has been lifted~ anywho..the week gets even better...i watched fma 40 and let me tell ya, goodness..pure goodness^__~ and there is lots of gluttony and lust fan service! ah ha and tina...i was right about the furher! oh and you were right about sloth too!! that was revealed when winry saw her...but now i'm wondering, do the homunculus take the form of the person who was trying to be brought back to life? if so that would explain sloth and lust, and possibly greed. hmmm......
anywho to add more happiness to my week... i got a package from masami!!! yes yes...she sent me a bunch of manga--Fullmetal Alchemist 1-7, XXXHolic 1-2, Tsubasa 1-2!!! i am so grateful!! i lubba u lots masami!!
ah anywho, i've been in the mood to enter my artwork into contests..but i don't know how to find any..meh. oh well i'll find something to enter, i'm sure. i think i'm gonna try my hand at airbrushing--thanks to dre! oh yeah...the best place to find fabric online is here.

LET'S END IT ON THIS...
ah well, summer semester is coming to a close. finally. looks like i'm gonna do really good in sculpture and as for math ... well looks like i'm gonna have to turn on my charms. i have pics of my bronze piece i did for sculpture class, but i gotta wait till christin installs dreamweaver for me so i can store it in my pic archives. **hint hint**
anywho, christin and i are gonna go get facials friday!! yay! never had a facial done before 'professionally', i would just do them myself at home. so this will be a real treat! oh well...guess i'll go draw up some more ideas for paintings next semester. yes...i am determined to have a 'bishi' painting for the senior gallery opening!! so i have hordes of bishi drawings right now.. ^__~ winks to christin and christina!
hey...i gotta talk to you tina..u sent me a package in may....i received a "lost package" letter from the postal peeps two days ago with remnants of the package wrapping. i talked to them and the lady said she'll see what she can do, but she makes no promises considering it was mailed 2 months ago. so i was wondering...what the package was?? lemme know so my mind can be at ease...~__~;

NOWHERE TO HIDE..
ha ha! been a loooong time, no? well lessee...last friday i bombed my algebra test. ~__~ yesh i know.. but on the brighter side i bought a coat!
i was in Dilard's buying some clothes and happened to check out in the section where they sell suits and suit coats. well, when walking out one coat caught my eye..surprising considering i hate suit coats...so i go over to look at it. all it took was one touch and i knew i was buying it. the coat is 100% cashmere!!! rrrrr! fabric of the gods. so i try it on and it fit perfectly!! well i figured it was gonna cost a pretty penny considering it was a suit coat and was cashmere, so i check out the price...9.99. oh well, a little too steep i figured, so as i was putting it back i noticed a little pink tag next to the pricetag. it was a sale tag!! the sale price was 9.99!!!!! what a steal!! so now i am the proud owner of a camel colored cashmere suit coat!!! yay!!
meanwhile, my mom's sis got married this weekend. it was a nice ceremony and reception...just glad it's over. blah..
oh well...it seems i need to redo my blog page..it has been a long time. hmm, what should i do???? any suggestions anyone??

HELL IS FOR CHILDREN...
yes ... i am pissed right now... i have been for the past two days.. very much so...my cellphone is inoperable and the heifer at the retail store lost all of my contacts, email addys, and pics i had stored on the phone. to top it off, she gave me a new phone(same model)and put my battery and sim card in it. well, that didn't help matters, the phone doesn't ring and speakerphone doesn't work either. now, the damn phone doesn't even power on!
yes...i am very pissed....
well, i told daddy and he's pissed too because he paid 300 bucks for this phone. so he's takin me to get another one. i don't even want the same model i am so disgusted. so iam opting for the motorola v600 or v400, whichever... they both are comparable to my previous phone except they don't have a video recoreder. positive is motorola plays music mp3 ringtones.^__~ but that is so besides the point right now..
the phone i really want is this one, but it's not available yet. meh~
to top it off..the pc at home has a worm and is bedecked with adware and spyware...wonderful. so yes that means christin must come and save the compy hopefully without having to reinstall the os....god i hope it doesn't come to that.
meanwhile, my fave anime is non existant now..yes i mean FMA. just when things were heating up and they were about to explain Lust and Scar. damn. also Midori no Hibi ended today...twas a good series and was ended really good. damn romance, i'm a sucker for romantic anime and always feel empty and lonely at the end. bah. my life.

myah...well algebra test didn't go so well..that suks, but hey i'll try and do better next time. i emphasize on TRY.. anywho, finished plaster piece and it looks okay. i'm just glad it's over with^__^ now we are gonna start bronze casting! the prof. wants us to base our piece off of a poem. it can be abstract, figurative, or anything we feel dealing with the poem. so i'm thinking i'll go with Clover by CLAMP. i'm thinking of doing a dressform with the wire wings...like the statue in fairy park.^__~
anywho..well i have a new addiction... you know how i like kylie?? and you know how i loooove chocolate?? well her newest single from her latest cd is called Chocolate^__^ and it is really good!! ahh...the perfect song for me! man..that makes me want godiva chocolates..i think i'll go make a trip to the union. laters!

PRETTY GIRL HATE....
ahhh....so i started watching the Peach Girl live action series and i must say...i do likey! it reminds me what i've been missing by not watching asian dramas. --*side note- i used to watch this japanese 'soap opera' on tv a long time ago faithfully, until i got into anime..*--
unlike the manga, there are some changes..names for instance: Xiao Tao= Momo, Dong Si= Toji, A Li= Kiley, and Sha Hue(sp?)= Sae. of course this momo isn't blonde, but she does a pretty good job of being naieve...and as for sae..just as mean and manipulative as in the manga. this toji is a little diff...he is an artsy person and likes photography, but the guy portraying kiley is perfect..he is exactly like his manga self, except for the fact that he works at a bar/club and tends to sing there too.. oh yeah, another diff. is that they aren't in high school, it looks as if they are in a college or a reeeeeally laid back high school w/o uniforms and they live in dorms. they did introduce three side characters called 3G...they are three brothers who run a restaurant together and they are also toji's friends.
although there are differences in the way things are set up, there are scenes that follow the manga exactly.(kiley in the pool, momo and sae with the broom incident, momo-toji-and the condom, toji in the hospital...etc..) all in all...the series is good so far so i suggest u check it out, though it is long and takes a while to dl, it's worth it. ^__^

mwah....just finished my algebra exam..it was on quadratic equations so i'm sure i did okies...considering i haven't had algebra since high school~__~;
well next is sculpture..we are working on a plaster piece..yes very very messy...but it is coming out okay. i started carving into it yesterday and trying to smooth it out...hopefully it'll go much easier oday since it's completely dry. meh, oh well. i just wanna go home and watch inu yasha XD oh yeah and i hope eppy 35 of fma comes out soon...GLUTTONY ^_^ he's sooo kyoot..

WHO MADE UP ALL THE RULES..
well, summer semester started..yay..and that means 8 weeks of math and sculpture. math seems okies..but sculpture may actually be fun. since it's summer the prof is gonna let us do bronze casting^__^ i know that sounds so cool and so much fun, but i bet it's gonna be hot as hell!
oh yeah, i've been out of touch lately cause i've been doing more trading spaces at home. this time dad has agree to let mom redo the kitchen, media room, and foyer! and i mean the whole shabang..new ceramic tile floors and countertops with backsplash design, new berber carpet in her room and the media room, tiffany lighting in the kitchen, roman shades and new draperies, a new kitchen sink, and tons of accessories!! i'm really jazzed about it all...so far i've completed the foyer and part of the media room..just have to paint the bookcase. otherwise the kitchen is halfway there, we had to remove wallpaper and let me tell you...that is one thing i'll never do ever again! ~__~; so yes i had to spackle the walls and next i'm gonna prime and paint, but i gotta wait cause the guy is installing the countertops and sink, so there will be dust flyin everywhere..
meh...hey christin!! let's go to the movies this weekend!!! there are so many things i wana see!! Shrek2, The Stepford Wives, The Chronicles of Riddick, Harry Potter3... i wanna see Kill Bill 2, but i haven't seen the first yet so that's gonna have to wait. Besides, i'm sure it'll help get ur mind off of things.^_~ oh yeah, when are we gonna go shopping? u know i'm ready whenever!!

yay! today i got a call from the director of admissions and i have been accepted into the Fashion design program!!! yay!! ^____^ so this means that i'll be heading to atlanta in january 2005 definately. i'm sooo happy!!! on top of that i've sent out 2 job applications/portfolios this week! keeping my fingers crossed^__^~
anywho...how's the move going christina?? i hope good..i've been reading up on sandiego con2004....and i really wanna go. i'm just gonna have to start saving up...i also think i'm gonna enter a art piece.^__~ not sure what i'm gonna do though..any ideas?? i've tossed around the ideas of Namor(sexy bishie route) or X-men(vintage group). i dunno...
oh christin...if i go to san diego con, u coming too!!! i'll cover hotel..so all u gotta pay is flight and con ticket. so yeah!! it'll be fun!! besides its in san diego! also we can get massages at the hotel!! ~__~ talk about relaxing.

DIAMOND NIGHTS, RUBY LIGHTS...
blahbidah...well i nixed the intersession idea..it was too much for me, plus i want to work on some of my own projects this summer. meh..went to the BFA graduating class art show last friday and it was awesome! very inspiring to me! i think my work is very different from many of the students in art, which is good, but i'm very nervous about the fall art show...being my work will be in it b/c i'm graduating. i hope i can do something really kick ass!!^__^;
well, been watchin lotsa inu-yasha! i'm on episode 95 i think...it's getting pretty interesting..i have a feeling that naraku is in kagome's era being that no one can detect his aura. oh well, i'll find out soon.
hey!!!!!i found a manga that i have fallen in love with!!! XXXHolic by CLAMP! the art is very nice of course, but the story seems really interesting and i like how they are doing all of these character crossovers. but that is bound to happen considering that the main character is a collegue of Clow Reed and has ties to all of CLAMP's previous stories...i asked masami to get the manga for me, so let's hope she pulls through! ^___^ i also asked for the fullmetal alchemist manga series, so i'll just keep my fingers crossed!!!

FLY ME TO THE MOON....
myeahhh! well ... had a pury good weekend, even though it is raining cats and dogs outside o.O my grandparents say it's the whole biblical forty day rain thingy...which is prolly true cuz it is usually raining alot around this time(after easter) every year. hmmm....
nhi and i went to our friend angie's graduation saturday morning. angie graduated magna cum laude in Law. yep so she's gonna be an atty. kudos to you angie!! afterwards we went ate with her family at Ralph&Kacoos seafood restaurant..twas pretty good..then later i went back to nhi's house and ate some pineapple cake her mom bought...while there, her mom and i talked and she was asking me if i knew how to sew...being the overachiever that i am said "sure". i mentioned the shirts i made at christmas...being that was my 1st attempt in years to sew....and she replied that she needed a pair of jeans and a cute shirt.

so now, i think i'm gonna desin her mom an outfit^___^ i'm sure she doesn't expect it but dammit i'm gonna do it. *reason*- well nhi's mom seems to not see any point in being an artist...like it's kind of a starving-artist thing..why do i come to this conclusion, well everytime i see her she asks me the same question "when do you graduate?" and "do you have a job?"....meeeearrgh...well i think that she sees fashion in snother light so i'm gonna show her what i can do!!!! ^__~ MWAHAHAHAHAHA!!!
ahem....moving on....well this friday is the senior BFA art show....i really wanna go and prolly will, but i won't have much fun though. it'll prolly be me and June(fiesty old lady in my painting classes) going together..seeing as Hai went back home for a while. meh, i guess i'l just drink lots of wine and have fun and mingle with the professors and talk one of the printmaking grads into teaching me silkscreen next semester or this summer^___^ hee hee! evil me!

so yes...i am taking intersession...it was a really good deal..i like the professor and she likes my work, and although it's from 9am to 6pm monday thru saturday..it's only 2 weeks!! ^__^ so i mean hey, why not...
i want to learn silkscreening, but there is no class for it, but i think it is a special studies class in Printmaking..need to talk to advisor though. if that doesn't work i'm gonna try to take an illustration class...i heard it was for graphic design only, but since i'm graduating in the fall, i think they might let me in....maybe...
good thingy is i get to be in the senior BFA art show in the fall!! yay! this means i must do some kik ass work!!! ^__~
anywho, mom and i went to Barnes&Noble yesterday and made off like bandits! i got a fashion book essential to all men. it's called Gentleman:a timeless fashion and it gives details about what a gentleman wears in any situation and what defines a gentleman...really good find. i also picked up Posters: a concise history(lotsa nice mucha prints in here) and Free Fonts: designer fonts online which is the best resource ever!!! it gives you websites that has free fonts for download..and the book even contains several font types as well!

hiya!! well..benn watchin anime..here's what i've been watching:
FullMetal Alchemist-eppy 27 was really good, and sad. sensei kiks ass too! ^_^ sadly it seems that action is slowing down and they are trying to get alot of background and story line in..which means no Glutony for a while ~_~; ...oh well i'll keep watchin
Midori no hibi- seems to be a pretty good series..funny as hell, yet a little disturbing..imagine having a girl as your right hand, literally....interested to see how this story goes. all in all i think i'll keep watching.
Kenran Butoh Sai/The Mars Daybreak- really good series..art is very nice, so is the music!! story is pretty good too. Only thing is, mars seems to look alot like a future earth..weird, but the characters are very interesting. ish a keeper!
Le Portrait de Petite Cosette- interesting..but boring to me. dude is a little to psycho for me..it seems he has some kinda of premonition thingy like Phoebe from Charmed...he touches this glass and he has visions of its past owner..as if it was some sort of mystery or murder he's meant to see...or that it's a ghost with unfinished business, telling it's story. none the less, it's driving him crazy...and me. i think i'll leave this one alone...
well....that's what i've seen so far, i've yet to see that Kono Minikuku mo Utskushii Sekai yet...i watched the opening and it reminded me alot of Tenchi Muyo...dunno, guess i gotta watch the whole thing. meh..

THEY ALL FALL AWAY...
wheeeeeeee!!!! went did my graduate check out thingy today!!^____^ ahh..i feel so relived and happy!! plus my drawing crit went really well! oh btw....a guy in class asked me if i knew how to color using the computer and that it maybe something i would like. he said he has a friend that worked for crossgen comics and was a colorist!! hmm...i wonder who??? well, i couldn't get into chat mode with him because the whole class was quiet and listening to what we were saying...so i didn't ask who the person was...but i'm sure i know who.
anywho..i go watch angel now^_^ nitey nite all!!

SHUT UP AND EAT...
mwahaha! another week = more projects
yesh yesh..easter was all good..went to lafayette friday and got some shopping in^__^ ooooo..also got some godiva too!!! i was like a kid in a candy store(pun intended);p the easter collection was awesome...now i must go and try the mother's day collection...they usually have some rarities for mother's day.
anywho...yay!! WB is back on this week with new eppys and the first of the last 6 Angel eppys.;_; i will miss that show soo much...but hey, i still have gilmore girls and charmed..
borrowed Angel Cop from a friend and realized how much i hate Manga Video animation...this stuff is supposed to be anime at it's best, but i disagree. they do their women great injustice..i mean the are massive hulking women who look more like men in drag..i dunno maybe it's me....
meh, i think i'll go watch the new eppy of FullmetalAlchemist now...GLUTTONY!!!!! ^___^

so alls well here..been working on my drawing comp. project..and i must say it is looking good!! i've done 3 pgs. so far..ink, tones, the whole nine...just gotta wait for some new tones i ordered to come in. meanwhile, i'll prolly work on my "steel" painting. i'm also deciding if i'm gonna do a trading spaces in my mom's master bath...^__~

IF WE TOOK A HOLIDAY...
hi-ya..been a busy week. first off i've been missing my still life class b/c i was bored with it. well two weeks pass and i return to class and the prof asks me where i've been. with no excuse i just surrender and she gives me the cold shoulder. well..being the overnight painter that i am, i am catching up prtty quickly to some of the others in class. today i was ultra late for class, so to sugar coat it i stopped by cake palace and picked up 2 doz. petit fours^__^ my excuse when i got to class was that they messed up the order at the bakery. well..that went over perfectly!! my teacher obviously has a love for sweets and she was really happy/surprised at what i did^__^ she even started talking to me about some recipes for bread pudding and a 1234 cake! how luky am i?
hey christin!!!when are u and dre moving to the new apt? lemme know and i can come and help u guys move...i can even help design the layout of the rooms!! Trading Spaces-^__^- hey we can even go shopping for home interior and decor thingys!! i can even design ur bedroom! consider it an early graduation/house warming gift!^__^ but yeah, lemme know when...okies?!
